Hello!
v12 is actually the version of the deck on AnkiHub. You might be referring to v11. You wonβt lose your review progress on anything (except maybe on some older, outdated cards that no longer exist in the current version of the deck). You just need to make sure to:
- Protect any fields where you have personal annotations before downloading the deck: How to Manage Protected Fields (we recommend only keeping your annotations on the lecture notes and questions missed fields. Do not protect the text or extra field so you can receive all content updates)
- Protect any personal tags before downloading the deck: How to Protect Personal Tags from being Overwritten
After that, you can follow these tutorials to complete your migration from v11 to v12:
- How to move cards from your old V11 deck to a new deck
- How to Delete old v11 Cards
- How to remove V11 tags when upgrading from V12
If you already have v12 installed locally somehow, you just need to make sure your fields and tags are protected; you wonβt need to follow the v11 to v12 migration tutorials.
