Troubleshooting MCAT deck installation

I just paid for the core mcat deck. I cant seem to find it anywhere!! Help!!Please

Can you confirm you have done the following?

  1. You have downloaded the ankihub addon and signed in
  2. You have subscribed to the deck you want
  3. You have clicked sync in Anki and clicked install
  4. You clicked upload to ankiweb if prompted in Anki

when i click on sync after downloading, i see nothing. i already have some decks in there, miles down, sketchy etc. Do i have to delete all my deck to see this new one?

The deck might’ve installed into your milesdown deck, to check, do the following:

  1. Go to Browse in Anki
  2. On the left hand side go to tags
  3. Can you see “#AK_MCAT_V2”?

If you do, that means it has most likely installed in a pre-existing deck of yours.

I don’t see it in the tags. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong here

Try this, this means the deck has not installed yet

Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on the ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

it says; “You don’t have any AnkiHub decks configured yet”

Try this:

  1. Go to the AnkiHub add-on
  2. Click Deck management
  3. Click on AnKing MCAT deck (if you don’t see the deck here then skip to step 5 and unsubscribe there)
  4. Click Unsubscribe
  5. Then go to Sign In
  6. Subscribe again to the AnKing MCAT deck
  7. Go back to Anki and click sync, follow the prompts and see if that fixes the issue

I went to deck management, and was able to install the deck, I went to browse and yes it installed into mile down deck. Is this okay to do? What should I do from here ? Thanks for all your help so far!!

Yes this is fine, if you want it to stay in the miledown deck then there is no issue with that.

Now if you go to Browse → tags → #AK_MCAT_v2 → you’ll see that all the cards are updated and you can use them as you wish
