I paid $6 for monthly subscription to AnkiHub and subscribed to MCAT deck. I refreshed with the sync button on my Anki but I don’t see any deck. I don’t have any existing decks on my Anki. This would’ve been the only one.

Hello! I understand you’re having trouble accessing your AnkiHub MCAT deck after subscribing. Let me help you get your deck set up properly.
It looks like you need to complete a few important steps after subscribing to get your deck to appear in Anki:
Here’s how to fix this issue:
-
Make sure you have the AnkiHub add-on installed in Anki:
- Go to Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons
- Enter the code:
1322529746
- Restart Anki after installation
-
Log into the AnkiHub add-on in Anki:
- Click on “AnkiHub” at the top of your Anki application
- Sign in with the same account you used to purchase the subscription
-
Sync Anki to download the deck:
- Click the sync button in Anki (the circular arrows at the top right)
- This will download the deck you subscribed to
- If prompted to upload to AnkiWeb, follow the prompts
-
Check if the deck installed in a different location:
- Sometimes the deck might install into an existing deck structure
- Go to Browse → Tags → look for “#AK_MCAT_v2” (if subscribing to MCAT deck)
- This would indicate the deck is installed but might be in a different location than expected
If you’ve followed all these steps and still don’t see the deck, try:
- Going to AnkiHub add-on → Deck Management → check if your deck appears there
- If it does, try clicking “Reinstall” or “Update”
For further troubleshooting, you can also try unsubscribing from the deck on the AnkiHub website, then resubscribing and syncing again.
Let me know if you need any clarification on these steps!
Hello,
I would be happy to help.
It looks like you don’t yet have the AnkiHub add-on installed, which is how all of the decks sync to your local collection. Without that installed in your Anki, there’s no way for the decks to get synced over and, thus, the decks won’t have appeared yet.
You’ll want to make sure that you’ve completed all of the setup and onboarding tasks in order to be able to sync over decks appropriately:
- Make sure you have an active membership: Sign In
- Install the Ankihub addon: https://ior.ad/a8o5
- Subscribe to and install a deck: Subscribe/Install Step Deck (New User)
- Start using the deck: How to Get Started Studying
(the example used there is the Step Deck, though the same basic process applies for any deck on Ankihub)
Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
