How do I add the Anking MCAT deck to Anki? When I click sync, there is no option for adding the deck.

You don’t add the AnKing MCAT deck by clicking Sync in Anki. Sync only updates decks you already have and keeps them in sync with AnkiWeb/AnkiHub.

Here’s how to add the AnKing MCAT deck:

1. Install AnkiHub add-on (if you haven’t yet)

  1. In Anki Desktop, go to Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons.
  2. Paste the AnkiHub add-on code from:
    :backhand_index_pointing_right: https://www.ankihub.net (look for “Install AnkiHub add-on”).
  3. Restart Anki.

2. Log in to AnkiHub in Anki

  1. In Anki, go to Tools → AnkiHub → Log in.
  2. Log in with your AnkiHub account.

3. Subscribe to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub

  1. Go to the AnKing MCAT deck page on AnkiHub in your browser.
  2. Click Subscribe to the deck.

4. Pull the deck into Anki

  1. Back in Anki Desktop, go to Tools → AnkiHub → Sync (or click the AnkiHub sync button if you see it).
  2. AnkiHub will download the subscribed deck into your collection.
  3. After that, you can use Anki’s normal Sync to keep things updated across your devices.

If you’d like, reply with:

  • A screenshot of what you see when you try to sync
  • Whether you’ve already installed the AnkiHub add-on

and I can give you step‑by‑step instructions tailored to your setup.

Hello,

I would be happy to help. :-)

You’ll want to make sure that you’ve taken care of all the necessary setup steps, in order to be able to access decks on AnkiHub. From within this same window, you should be able to click on ‘Tasks’ here and there are step-by-step instructions, with tutorials, for everything in order to get squared away:

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
