I think the bot pretty much covered everything for you!
Basically, the recommended setup for studying is to suspend all cards and then unsuspend only the tags you want to study right now. In some cases, if you want to study a specific topic or prepare for a test, you can create filtered decks.
Unfortunately, if you want to move cards from the AnKing Step Deck into subdecks, the only method is to select all cards from a specific tag and manually move them to a deck you created. Doing this for a few specific topics is fine, but it isnโt practical to do this for every topic because there are so many tags. It just isnโt possible to organize every single tag into a subdeck.
That is simply how Anki works. Since we cannot make a subdeck for every topic, we rely on the tag system.
