Iām not great with computers and iām trying my best to understand what you mean Brian. I donāt understand what you said based on this screenshot [quote=āBrian_BH, post:19, topic:330377, full:trueā]
According to the Anki website, recent releases support 10.13.4 or later. That shouldnāt impact being able to use Qt5 or Qt6, to my knowledge.

I downloaded Qt5 2 weeks ago and am running version 24.06.3 which was working fine with ankihub initially.
If this is just because i have an old computer, then is there a way to reverse the update that happened 4 days ago on my side so i can go back to it working again?
Iām not sure of the specifics to the update that was recently pushed out to the addon, unfortunately. I havenāt seen anyone else report this issue, which makes me think that the issue may come down to something unique to either your setup or operating system, but thatās above my knowledge base.
In terms of high-level troubleshooting like that I think Abdo will be your best bet here.
Can you try both of these add-on versions and see if the issue actually starts in the 2024-10-21 release? You can install the zip from Tools > Add-ons > Install from File. You have to restart Anki after each install
Not sure if Iām doing something wrong here but when i click on install from file it just opens the ankihub folder and there is nothing to click on inside (there are files they are just greyed out).
I tried clicking view files instead and opening the addons21 folder and dragging the files in there instead and restarting but i am getting this error message for both versions
Thatās weird and shouldnāt happen. If you open/preview the downloaded zip, you should see multiple folders and files, one of them is named āmanifest.jsonā. Are you getting something different?
Hmm, thereās probably a system issue here that will require more debugging. Letās try a different method to install the add-on. Can you navigate to the addons21 folder, delete the existing version of the AnkiHub add-on, then extract the first zip there? You should get a folder named āankihub_2024-09-30.1ā (or whatever you named it) with manifest.json and other files in it.
