every time I click next for a card my anki keeps saying processing for like 2 seconds

Can you show me an image of what you’re seeing?
its too short to be able to take a screenshot but every time i click to finish a review and go to the next card, there is a bar that looks like its loading and says processing that delays the next card popping up for about 2 seconds
That’s an odd one, I can’t say that I’ve ever seen or heard of that one before.
My instinct is that it’s most likely related to Anki directly, rather than Ankihub.
A few quick thoughts:
What operating system are you on?
Are all of your addons up to date?
Do you know what version of Anki you’re running?
I have a windows 11 spectre laptop. all my addons are up to date. how do i see what version of anki i am running?
On Windows it should be on your top bar; I think ‘About’ or ‘Help’ (I can’t recall perfectly as I don’t ever use a Windows machine). Somewhere up there
version 23.12.1
It might be worth updating to the most recent version. That’s about a year old now.
May or may not be the root cause but it would help eliminate it as a potential confounder.

Updating to a new version of Anki should not effect any of your data. It is always recommended to make makeup though just in case!
Updating Anki won’t affect any of your data (otherwise no one would ever update).
