I see that you’re experiencing an issue with the AnKing deck on AnkiHub. When you deleted the v11 deck and tried to install the v12 version via AnkiHub sync, you ended up with 0 cards showing. This is a common problem that can be fixed!

How to restore your deck with all cards:

  1. Reset your local changes to fix the 0 cards issue:
    • Go to Browse in your Anki
    • In the menu bar at the top, click on AnkiHub
    • Press Reset all local changes
    • Select the deck you want to reset
    • Click OK

This will restore everything from AnkiHub, and you should see all the cards properly installed.

Important notes about the AnKing Step Deck:

  1. The deck comes with all cards suspended by default - this is normal and by design.
  2. You need to unsuspend the cards you want to study:
    • Go to Browse → Tags → find the tags for the subjects you want to study (like #AK_Step1_V12)
    • Select the cards you want to study
    • Right-click and toggle suspend to unsuspend them

Why didn’t the v12 deck look different from v11?

When you update to a new version, the changes might not be immediately obvious if:

  • You had protected fields from your previous setup
  • The deck hierarchy appears the same (AnkiHub focuses on note content, not deck structure)
