I don’t see specific information about accessing subdecks and jumbled cards in the search results. Let me search more specifically about deck organization in AnkiHub:

Hello! I understand you’re having issues accessing subdecks and your cards are jumbled. This is a common concern in Anki that relates to how decks and subdecks are organized and displayed during study sessions.

Why Your Cards Might Be Jumbled

In Anki, the display order of cards depends on which scheduler version you’re using:

  • V1 Scheduler: Cards appear from each deck in turn (deck by deck)
  • V2 Scheduler: Reviews are taken from all children (sub)decks at once
  • V3 Scheduler: Each child deck’s limit is enforced and you have more control over review order

How to Access Subdecks

To properly access your subdecks:

  1. Make sure you’re looking at the Decks screen in Anki
  2. Your main decks will be displayed, and subdecks will appear indented under their parent decks
  3. Click the small arrow next to a main deck to expand/collapse its subdecks
  4. You can study a specific subdeck by clicking directly on that subdeck’s name

Tips for Organization

Anki is designed for broad categories rather than many small decks. Having too many little decks can cause:

  • Cards appearing in a predictable order (weakening memory formation)
  • Potential slowdowns with the app
  • Difficulty navigating your collection

Solutions to Try

  1. Check your scheduler version: Go to Preferences/Settings and check which scheduler you’re using
  2. Study specific subdecks: Click directly on the subdeck you want to study rather than the parent deck
  3. Use tags instead of many decks: Consider using Anki’s tag system for finer organization while keeping fewer decks

If you’re using AnkiHub specifically and having issues with your deck structure after subscribing to shared decks, this might be related to how AnkiHub handles deck organization.

Would you like more specific guidance about your AnkiHub setup? I’d be happy to help further if you can share more details about your specific situation.

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

The AnKing deck does not have subdecks, though you can make your own if you like: How to Create Subdecks

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
