Will there be USMLE Rx support for this deck? I’m trying to build a program for USMLE Rx and having the question id tags would be very useful. If not any ideas on how to best search for cards related to a subject I can write a program for?

At the moment there isn’t any official mention of USMLE Rx–specific support or integration for the AnKing Step Deck on AnkiHub (e.g., dedicated tagging, linking, or an Rx-powered integration), at least in the public FAQs and wiki posts.
What is currently supported/mentioned:
- The deck is designed for USMLE Step 1 & 2 (and can be used for Step 3) and already has:
- Only_Step_1 / Only_Step_2 style tags to help focus on step-relevant content
→ See: What are the Only_Step_1&2 tags? | FAQ - Official integrations with Boards & Beyond and First Aid via McGraw Hill, not USMLE Rx
→ See: McGraw Hill Integration FAQ
- Only_Step_1 / Only_Step_2 style tags to help focus on step-relevant content
Because there’s no public announcement about an Rx integration, the safest answer is:
- No current official USMLE Rx integration/support is documented.
- It’s unclear if this is planned; roadmap items like this generally get announced in the FAQs or deck wiki.
If you’d like, you can:
- Clarify what you mean by “USMLE Rx support” (e.g.,
- Rx-style question tags?
- One‑click links to Rx questions?
- A curated subset matching the Rx Qbank?)
- I can then tag this post (or suggest wording) so that the AnKing/AnkiHub team can see it clearly as a feature request, which increases the chance of getting an official response or roadmap info.
Hello,
I would be happy to help. ![]()
I’m not currently aware of any immediate plans to tag via USMLE-Rx, though we are always open to requests and suggestions. ![]()
The AnKing Step deck is currently tagged by the Amboss and UWorld question banks (and others), owing to their popularity and widespread use
There are some tagging programs currently underway, and you can find a bit more information on the monthly Step deck update posts, the most recent iteration of which can be found here: 👑 AnKing Step Deck Update #26 - #7 by Ahmed7
I can’t say I’ve used, or am familiar, with that particular site/program unfortunately, so I’m sorry to say that I’m not sure how much help I can be there
You might try searching by keyword, or by tag, or making use of some of the AnkiHub features such as SmartSearch and you should be able to find cards via any of these methods. The AnKing Step deck allows for searching via a number of different mechanisms in this way and I’m sure you can find the cards you’re looking for one way or the other. But those would be the tried-and-true methods of finding cards, in any case
Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with. ![]()
