Yesterday it was white, this only happened on one deck
Iโll help you understand why the background of your deckโs cards turned red. Let me search for relevant information about this issue in the AnkiHub community.

Hi @ttaeqe,
Thank you for sharing this screenshot! The red background on your cards in AnkiDroid typically indicates that these cards are overdue. This means they were due for review on a previous day but werenโt studied at that time.
This is a normal feature in AnkiDroid that helps you visually identify cards that are past their scheduled review date. It only happened on one deck because those are likely the only cards that are currently overdue.
To fix this:
- Simply review the cards as normal
- Once youโve caught up with your reviews, new cards will appear with the regular white background
- If you review these overdue cards, future cards in the same deck should return to the normal white background
This is a helpful visual reminder rather than a problem with your deck or the AnkiHub add-on.
Let me know if you have any other questions about AnkiDroid or AnkiHub!
Hello,
I would be happy to help. ![]()
Iโm sorry to say Iโm not sure. If this an Ankihub deck?
If, as it appears, it is a deck outside of AnkiHub I may be somewhat limited in our ability to help unfortunately, as thereโs no telling much about the deck from my end, Iโm sorry to say.
You might try adjusting the note type styling, though you might also take a look at the botโs response above and see if there is anything relevant their for your uses. ![]()
