Thanks for reaching out, and welcome!

It sounds like there are two separate issues:

  1. Creating / logging into your AnkiHub account
  2. Accessing the AnkiHub Course

Let’s go step‑by‑step so you can get started.

1. Make sure you have an AnkiHub account

  1. Go to: https://www.ankihub.net
  2. In the top right, click Sign up (or Create account).
  3. Create your account using the same email you used to subscribe.
  4. After creating the account, confirm your email if you get a confirmation link.

Only after you complete this will “Log in” work for both the site and the course.

If you don’t see an option to create an account and only see “Log in,” try:

  • A different browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari)
  • Incognito/private mode (in case of cached session)
  • Disabling any ad‑blocker temporarily

If you still can’t find a way to sign up, please add a screenshot of what you see on the course login page.

2. Confirm your subscription is active

After logging into https://www.ankihub.net:

  • Click your profile (top right) → look for Billing / Subscription.
  • Confirm your subscription shows as active.
  • If it doesn’t, or if it says “free,” your payment may not have gone through properly.

If it looks wrong, please reply with:

  • A screenshot (with personal info blurred is fine)
  • The email you used for the subscription (you can DM this to staff if needed)

3. Basic setup of AnkiHub with Anki

Once your account is working:

  1. Install the AnkiHub add-on in Anki

    • In Anki: Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons…
    • Use the AnkiHub add-on code from: https://community.ankihub.net/docs (search for “Install AnkiHub add-on”).
  2. Log in from the add‑on

    • In Anki: Tools → AnkiHub → log in with the same email/password.
  3. Join a deck

    • From the AnkiHub website, open the deck you want.
    • Click Join / Subscribe to this deck.
    • Then in Anki, click Sync with AnkiHub in the AnkiHub menu.

4. About the AnkiHub Course not letting you log in

Most likely, the course uses the same login as your AnkiHub account. If you’re stuck on a page that:

  • Only shows “Log in” but no “Sign up,”
  • And your AnkiHub account is already created,

then:

  1. Make sure you are using the exact same email you just registered with.
  2. Try reloading the page after logging into https://www.ankihub.net in another tab.
  3. If you get a specific error message (e.g., “user not found” or “no access”), please copy/paste it or share a screenshot.

To help you fastest

Could you please reply with:

  1. Can you successfully log into https://www.ankihub.net? Yes/No
  2. A screenshot of the course login page you’re seeing.
  3. What device/browser you’re using (e.g., Windows + Chrome, Mac + Safari, iPad, etc.).

Once I have that, I can give you exact next steps and help you from “just subscribed” → “properly set up and using AnkiHub” as simply as possible.

Used my email with ankihub, still no luck., Using chrome in windows.

Hello,

I would be happy to help. :-)

If you can, within Anki go to your top menu bar. From there, click Anki - About Anki and check your version number.

You’ll want to make sure that you’re on 25.09. If it’s any other version, you’ll want to upgrade since older versions often run into little issues with add-ons.

You can always download the latest version of Anki at the official Anki website: https://apps.ankiweb.net/

You’ll want to make sure that you’ve taken care of all the necessary setup steps, in order to be able to access decks on AnkiHub. From within AnkiHub.net, you should be able to click on ‘Tasks’ here and there are step-by-step instructions, with tutorials, for everything in order to get squared away:

You can also access the course directly via this URL: Official Course | Getting Started with the AnKing Step Deck

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
