I’m on macOS with Anki 25.09.4 and the latest AnkiHub add-on.
When I subscribe to Dermki and click “Sync to install”, the sync immediately shows “AnkiHub sync cancelled” with no error, and the deck never installs.
I uploaded logs with the filename: ankihub_addon_debug_info_vwilk23_1782247740.zip

Thanks for the detailed info and for uploading the logs.
A few targeted things to try/confirm so we can narrow down why the sync is being “cancelled” without an error:
Confirm Anki + AnkiHub versions
In Anki, go to Tools → Add-ons → AnkiHub → View Files → manifest.json and confirm the AnkiHub add-on version matches the latest listed at docs.ankihub.net.
You mentioned Anki 25.09.4 (Qt6) on macOS — that’s a fairly new build, so I want to rule out a version mismatch first.
Check if any AnkiHub sync works
In Anki: AnkiHub → Sync (without subscribing/“Sync to install”) and see:
Does it also say “AnkiHub sync cancelled”?
Or does it succeed when you’re not trying to install Dermki?
This tells us if the problem is:
General AnkiHub connection/auth issue, or
Something specific to subscribing/initial sync of Dermki.
Try a clean Anki profile
This is the most helpful test for issues like this.
In Anki: Profiles → Add → create a New empty profile.
Install only:
AnkiHub add-on
Log into AnkiHub
Then:
Subscribe to Dermki on the web.
In Anki (new profile) click AnkiHub → Sync to install.
Report what happens:
Does it still immediately say “AnkiHub sync cancelled”?
Or does Dermki install correctly in the clean profile?
Check for conflicting add‑ons in your main profile
If the clean profile works, the issue is likely interference from another add‑on or data state:
In your main profile, go to Tools → Add-ons → Disable All, then enable only AnkiHub.
Restart Anki.
Try Sync to install again for Dermki.
If it now works, we can then narrow down which add-on is conflicting by re‑enabling them in small batches.
Confirm your AnkiWeb sync works
Just to be sure the base sync stack is fine:
Use the standard Sync button (top-right cloud icon) and make sure there’s no error there.
If AnkiWeb sync itself is failing, that needs to be fixed first.
What would help next
Could you reply with the results of these specific tests?
Does AnkiHub → Sync (no deck install) also show “cancelled”?
Does Dermki install successfully in a new, clean profile with only AnkiHub installed?
If not, does disabling all other add-ons in your main profile change anything?
Based on your answers, the next step will either be:
Escalating as a likely compatibility issue with 25.09.4 + macOS, or
Helping you pinpoint a conflicting add-on or profile-specific problem.
Also, if you notice any transient message in the bottom status bar before “sync cancelled” shows up, mention that text too—it can give us an important hint.
There is no “sync” option in that menu, only “sync with ankihub” which resuts in the messages “collection sync complete” and “ankihub sync cancelled” immediately after.
I dont see a “profiles” option. I’m on mac?
No conflicting add-ons. This is the only add-on i have
It looks like, from the image you shared, that the only add-on you mention as having is an add-on ID that I don’t recognize (though I don’t believe that it’s related to AnkiHub)
Just to make sure: can you confirm for me if you have the AnkiHub add-on installed? Without that in place there won’t be a way to sync your collection with AnkiHub so best to make sure first
First things first, if you can double-check the version of Anki that you’re running just to be sure:
If you can, within Anki go to your top menu bar. From there, click Anki - About Anki and check your version number.
You’ll want to make sure that you’re on 25.09 (or higher). If it’s any other version, you’ll want to upgrade since older versions often run into little issues with add-ons.
You can always download the latest version of Anki at the official Anki website: https://apps.ankiweb.net/
