Can’t upload my notes to the smart search tool, it takes an indefinite amount of time no matter the file size, others I know are experiencing this

What exactly is happening?
- Is the Smart Search button missing, grayed out, or do you get an error message?
- Does it happen on Anki Desktop, AnkiWeb, or AnkiHub web?

- The AnkiHub add-on window or the part of Anki where you’re trying to use Smart Search

Basic setup info:
- Your operating system (Windows/macOS/Linux)
- Your Anki version (Help → About)
- Your AnkiHub add-on version (Tools → Add-ons → AnkiHub)
- Whether other AnkiHub features are working (e.g. syncing a shared deck)
In the meantime, a few quick checks you can try:
- Restart Anki and try Smart Search again.
- Make sure you’re logged into AnkiHub in the add-on (Anki → Tools → AnkiHub).
- Disable any other add-ons that modify the Browser/search (e.g. advanced browser add-ons), restart, and test again.
- Check our docs at: https://community.ankihub.net/docs and search “smart search” or “AnKing AI” to see if there’s a known outage or configuration step you missed.

I don’t have a timeline just yet, unfortunately, though the developers have been aware and I’m sure they’ll do their sorcery and hopefully have it up sooner than later.
