Anking deck downloads all 28k+ cards as empty

I keep trying to download the Step 1/2 deck I subscribed to following the instructions listed. When I click install, it installs all the cards as empty and shows “no cloze deletions found.” Then when I use tools to clearly all empty cards, it deletes the entire deck except for 1 instruction card. Please help

Can you go to the ankihub website and see if you have the text field protected? There should be no checkmark next to the “text” field

I redownloaded it after unchecking the text field and am still experiencing the same issue

Can you take a picture of your protected fields on AnkiHub?

Also did you install the “AnKing Overhaul for Step 1 & 2” by AnKingMed with 22,000+ subscribers?

Also make sure you press “upload to ankiweb” when prompted

Yes, that is the deck I installed! I have been clicking upload to ankiweb as well

Can you try this first:

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

If that does not fix the issue, try this:

Unsubscribe to the deck on the ankihub addon → unsubscribe to the deck on the ankihub website → resubscribe again on the website → press sync on anki
