As long as you’re subscribed to the current version on AnkiHub, you aren’t missing out on anything.
I show that you are currently subscribed to the AnKing Step deck, so you’re not really syncing your old deck so much as you’re actively subscribed to the current version of the deck.
For perhaps all the obvious reasons, using the current one is recommended as it’s far more updated than the pre-AnkiHub versions that float around out there. But, since you’ve been subscribed to the AnkiHub version you already have the new one.
If you mean, though, whether it’s recommended to use the pre-AnkiHub version or the AnkiHub version it’s for sure recommended to use the AnkiHub version (which you have). At this point, you’re looking at hundreds of thousands of updates, easily
