Anking v12 Step 1 Type Notes

Hi all, I’d appreciate any help on this!

I prefer typing my answer on the front of the card because I am new to Anki. Is there a way to do this, please?

Can you explain what you mean by typing your answer on the front?

Are you making new cards? Is this for AnKing Overhaul for Step 1 & 2? Is this for an AnkiHub related deck?

Anki 2: Typing in the Answer

I am studying for Step 1 using the AnkiHub Anking V12 deck.

I didn’t even know that could be done haha!

I am not sure if this would work since the note type would have to be changed.

@andrew would something like this ever be able to work with AnkiHub?

It might be possible to give an option for users to toggle this option on/off. It looks like it’s compatible with cloze deletions: Reddit - Dive into anything

Thank you for sharing Andrew and Ahmed. I got it to work by typing in the line {{type:cloze:Text}}

on the front and back of the card

Keep in mind that changes you make will not persist if AnkiHub updates the note unless you protect the note or the field.
