Thanks for sharing the deck link, that helps.

From how Smart Search currently works (see: :robot: What do I get in AnkiHub Premium? and :robot: What is Smart Search?), a few conditions need to be met before the Smart Search option shows up:

  1. You must have AnkiHub Premium on the account that owns the deck.

    • Smart Search is a Premium-only feature.
    • Please double‑check that you are logged into the same AnkiHub account that:
      • owns this deck, and
      • has an active Premium membership.
  2. Deck must be an AnkiHub deck (not just local in Anki).
Your link is an AnkiHub deck, so that part is fine.

  3. Where to see Smart Search:

    • Open your deck in the AnkiHub web app.
    • On supported decks, you should see a “Smart Search” (or AI-related) button in the deck view/toolbar area.
    • It won’t appear inside the Anki desktop browser; it’s a web feature.

Because I can’t see your account status from here, I can’t confirm if you have Premium, but based on your description (owner, public deck, 250 notes, tagged) the most likely reasons it’s not showing are:

  • Your account does not currently have Premium; or
  • You’re viewing the deck while logged into a different account than the owner; or
  • There’s a temporary bug with Smart Search visibility for user-created decks.

Next steps

Please check:

  1. Go to: https://app.ankihub.net/memberships/plans/

    • Confirm that your simoncao (or the account that owns the deck) has Premium active.
  2. While logged into that same account, open your deck again:
    https://app.ankihub.net/decks/4c767996-179e-4bf3-8457-9b2686071176

    • Look for the Smart Search / AI button.
  3. If:

    • You do have Premium,
    • You’re definitely logged into the owner account, and
    • The button is still missing,

then this is likely a bug or an account/deck‑flagging issue on our side.

If you can, please reply here with:

  • A screenshot of the deck page (top area where Smart Search should appear).
  • Confirmation of:
    • “Yes, I have Premium on this account.”
    • “Yes, this is the same account that created/owns the deck.”

With that info, the AnkiHub team can investigate and, if needed, escalate it to dev support.
