Current AnkiHub AI Features

Based on the information from the AnkiHub Community forum, here are the AI features currently available for AnkiHub Premium subscribers:

1. AnkiHub AI Chatbot

  • A personal AI assistant that can answer questions based on your flashcard content
  • Uses the notes from the enabled deck to generate responses
  • Helps you get expert answers to your questions quickly
  • Available as part of the AnkiHub add-on (not a separate add-on)

2. Smart Search

  • Allows you to find relevant flashcards without using tags or manual browsing
  • You can input lecture notes, PowerPoint slides, and other content
  • The system will match and suggest cards related to the content you’re studying

Important Notes:

  • These AI features are premium features only available with an AnkiHub Premium subscription
  • Not available for scholarship subscriptions
  • Usage limits apply (specific limits not detailed in the search results)
  • The AI is trained on the flashcard content in enabled decks

To ensure you can access these features, make sure you:

Is it possible to smart search through multiple decks at the seme time?

Hello,

Unfortunately not at current. The search feature is deck-specific for the time being, though you can use the feature on individual decks separately of course

Part of this has to do with the way that the feature functions in searching, and the fact that not all decks are uniform in language, formatting, tagging, etc. In an ideal world it might be a feature worth considering in the future though I’m not aware of any plans for it atm
