Hi there! I see you’re having trouble with cards not showing up after downloading an AnkiHub deck (specifically the AnKing Overhaul for Step 1/2). This is a common issue with a simple solution.
Why You Don’t See Any Cards
Based on your description, it sounds like you’ve successfully subscribed to and downloaded the deck, but no cards are appearing. This is most likely because all cards in the AnKing deck are suspended by default when first installed.
How to Fix This:
- Open Anki and go to the Browse section
- On the left-hand side, go to Tags
- Find the tag you want to use (for example,
#AK_Step1_V12
)
- Click on the cards you want to study
- Right-click → Toggle Suspend
The cards you unsuspend will now appear in your deck ready for study.
Other Possible Solutions:
If you’re upgrading from a previous version (like V11 to V12), the new cards might have been added to your existing deck. In this case:
- Create a new deck for V12
- Go to Browse
- Find “Note Types” on the left
- Select “AnKing Overhaul (AnKingMed)”
- Highlight all cards
- Right-click → Change deck → Move to your new deck

- Make sure you’ve successfully subscribed to the deck on AnkiHub
- Check that you’ve logged into the AnkiHub add-on and clicked sync
- Try “Reset All Local Changes” in the AnkiHub add-on menu within the Browse window
