Upgrading from V11
If you had V11 and installed V12, it matches all the notes with the previous note ID’s in your old V11 deck, therefore, if you had a separate deck where you put the AnKing deck, all the cards will be updated there.
To keep all the V12 cards in a new deck separate from the V11 cards, do the following:
- Create a new deck
- Name it “AnKing Step Deck” or whatever you would prefer
- Go to browse
- Find “Note Types” on the left-hand side
- Find AnKing Overhaul (AnKingMed)
- Highlight all the cards (Ctrl + A) or (Cmd + A)
- Right-click → Change deck
- Move the cards to the new deck you have created
To ensure all new cards stay in the new deck, not the old one.
- Go the AnkiHub addon
- Click on Deck management
- Select the AnKing Overhaul Deck
- Click on change destination for new cards and set it to the new deck
Now, all the new V12 cards are in their separate deck!
Not Upgrading from V11
If you are not upgrading from V11 but you still cannot see the deck in your Anki application.
Make sure you have
- Subscribed to the deck on AnkiHub
- Logged into the AnkiHub addon and clicked sync
- Clicked on Upload to AnkiWeb if prompted
If you still cannot see the deck, try resetting your local changes:
- Go to browse in your Anki
- At the top, click on AnkiHub addon tab
- Click reset all local changes
This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields
