Can I protect my own edits when subscribing to the AnKing Step Deck?

The edits you personally make to cards are automatically protected by default!

When you edit a field in a flashcard from AnkiHub, that field for that specific flashcard becomes protected and will not be overwritten.

Note: This will also prevent that field for that specific note from receiving updates.

How do I change the auto-protected fields setting?

To change whether fields are auto-protected when you edit them, go to AnkiHub > Deck Management in your Anki main window:
