Im having trouble downloading this deck. I subscribed to it and followed the directions but it says theres only three cards in the deck…

To download the AnKing deck through AnkiHub, follow these steps:

How to Download the AnKing Step Deck:

  1. Select an AnkiHub membership plan

  2. Sign into AnkiHub via the Anki application

    • Open Anki
    • Click “Anki” in the top left
    • Select “Preferences”
    • Go to “Third-Party Services”
    • Log in with your AnkiHub credentials
    • Restart Anki to install the add-on

  3. Subscribe to the AnKing Step Deck

  4. Install the deck

    • Open your Anki application
    • Click “Sync” at the top
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to download the deck

Important Notes:

  • The V12 AnKing Step Deck is only available through AnkiHub (if you don’t want to use AnkiHub, you can still download V11 from Reddit)
  • The media files (images) will download automatically with the deck
  • The first sync may take some time as it downloads all content

I understand your frustration! This is actually a common issue with the AnKing deck. The deck shows only a few cards because all the cards are suspended by default when you first download it.

Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Go to Browse in your Anki
  2. On the left-hand side, click on Tags
  3. Find and expand the tag #AK_Step1_v12 (or #AK_Step2_v12 depending on which deck you’re using)
  4. Select the cards you want to study (you can use Ctrl+A to select all cards in a specific tag)
  5. Right-click on the selected cards and choose Toggle Suspend

This will “unsuspend” the cards and make them available for studying. The AnKing deck is designed this way so you can selectively unsuspend cards as you progress through your study material.
