Hi ipedroza,

I see you’re having issues with the High Yield (HY) tags in the AnKing deck. Let me help you troubleshoot this problem!

About the High Yield Tags

The High Yield tag system in AnKing is an important feature that helps prioritize the most essential cards. Based on recent information, these tags are organized as:

  • 1-HighYield - Most critical concepts that frequently appear in practice questions
  • 2-RelativelyHighYield - Still important but slightly less essential than the first category
  • 3-HighYield-temporary - Cards meant to be suspended later after building foundation
  • 4-LowerYield - Less essential cards that can be skipped
  • 5-LowYield - Rarely needed cards

Troubleshooting Steps

Since you’re only able to see “HY” and “Relatively HY” tags and the filtering isn’t working properly, here are some steps to try:

  1. Check Tag Structure: Make sure you’re looking in the correct location. The HY tags should be under #AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield in the tag browser.

  2. Rebuild the Database:

    • Close Anki
    • Reopen while holding down Shift key to access the database options
    • Choose “Check Database”
  3. Verify Add-on Conflicts:

    • Temporarily disable other add-ons except AnkiHub
    • Restart Anki
    • Check if the tags work properly
  4. Re-pull from AnkiHub:

    • Go to AnkiHub → Pull Changes
    • Select “Force pull (discard all local changes)”
    • Note: This will override any personal edits you’ve made
  5. Check Browser Filtering:

    • In the browser, try using the search term tag:AK_Step1_v12::Low/HighYield::1-HighYield to see if the cards appear

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, could you please:

  • Share a screenshot of your tag browser showing the HY tags section?
  • Let us know which version of Anki and AnkiHub add-on you’re using?

This will help us better understand and solve your specific situation!

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

Can you share a bit more detail about the specific difficulties you’re running into?

The more context you can share the easier it may be to be of help. Screenshots are ideal, if you can, just so I can see what you’re seeing

The tag name was recently changed to make it easier to find.

You will find the tag in #AK_Step1_v12::#Low/HighYield

Can you take a screenshot of your tag tree like this?

If you don’t see it, try resetting local changes: Resetting Local Changes
