Getting rid of the claze đź‘‘ things

Hi everyone,

does anyone know who can deactivate cloze :crown:? I used the Anking note types addon but all I can do is change the :crown: symbol but not that I have to click at it or press a button to separately reveal it.
If I change it directly in the note type it just gets overwritten…

The crown symbol (:crown:) you’re seeing is part of the “one by one” feature in AnKing note types, which allows you to sequentially reveal each cloze deletion.

To disable this feature, you can:

  1. Remove the text from the “One by one” field in your cards to convert them back to normal cloze notes.

  2. Here’s how to do it:

    • Open the card browser
    • Select the cards you want to modify
    • Edit the cards and clear the content in the “One by one” field
    • Save your changes

You can also protect that field to prevent it from being overwritten. Check out this tutorial for a visual guide on removing the feature.
