How to prevent back template from changing after syncing?

Hey All, So i’m using the Anking step deck, and one thing that always happens is when I sync my cards the “back” of the card always syncs back to default setting.

One thing I like on my card settings is for the first aid and additional resources buttons to be automatically dropped, so when I do cards they just pop up without me having to click the button. So on the back field I change them from “false” to “true” But when i sync this always goes back to false. Any idea how to fix this issue?

Do you have the AnKing notetypes add-on installed? You can customize your options using it and the AnkiHub add-on should respect your customizations.

I do but I don’t know how to do the settings so I can fix this. I tried looking at the video and I didn’t quite understand

Enable the auto reveal option of the relevant fields in the Hint Buttons section then click Save.
