How to study AnKing MCAT by separate topics

Unlike MileDown or PanKow’s decks, the AnKing MCAT deck does not seem to categorize topics or chapters under each subdeck. Can someone show me the way to study those cards by topic/chapter please? Also, why are those cards repeated over and over again in the same day even though I already finish them? Sorry I am so new to this.

Hello,

You can use the tags and suspend/unsuspend according to what topic you would like to do

If you are seeing the cards over and over again, your learning steps are probably too short

For example, my learnings steps are 25m 1d, which means if I get it wrong, i see it in 25 mins, if i get it right, i see it tomorrow. This means i don’t do that many cards in the same day. You can try that out if you like (the default anki settings are not good at all in my opinion)

You can also use FSRS. Alot of people love it (I would recommend it if you are just starting out!)

Thanks for your clarification. My Anking MCAT Deck looks quite different than yours. Your AK MCAT has some subdecks with the dropdown options, but I don’t see them on my end. I have attached a screenshot of my anki below. Did I miss any add-ons?

Try this and see if it fixes your issue

Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

I did but nothing changed. Plus, I am not aware of having special setup on any of those field, so I attached a screenshot of add-on list I have on Anki. I am unsure if any of them may cause the conflicts; I truly hope to figure it out T.T. It has slowed down my study since I subscribed this new deck as all subdecks and sub-topics were gone T.T
