I uploaded media for First Aid for Anking V12, I can't find any of the images

I keep reuploading as well and nothing is working. I can’t find the images. Where are they, when I try to re-upload via using imported media, nothing happens as well and it says the images are already there

Can you go to manage protected data and see if you have a check mark next to first aid?

If you do, please uncheck it, then reset local changes

To do this:

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

Then reimport the media and you should be able to see the images

thank you Ahmed, just wondering, why do I need to reset local changes though to reimport images,. Couldn’t I uncheck first aid and then import the first aid images?

Since the first aid field is protected by default, there is no HTML in the first aid field. Therefore, after unprotecting, you would need to reset local changes for the HTML to populate in the first aid field. Otherwise, importing media will do nothing

Wow, that makes a lot of sense. If I reset local changes, what does that do? Also, if I unprotect fields on ankihub, do I need to reset local changes every single time for my cards for ankihub settings to pull through?

Resetting local changes just switches a field to what we have it as.

For example, if ankihub has a text field that says “hello my name is Anki” and you change it to “hello my name is Anki 2”. By resetting local changes, it will revert all “local” changes you have made, so it will go back to “hello my name is Anki”

If you unprotect fields on ankihub, yes if you want the changes we have made (specifically text, extra, sketchy, and pixorize fields) then you will need to reset local changes

As an update, your solution worked for me. Very thankful. What do I do now. Do I check first aid as protected data now and then reset to local changes again? Or do I leave first aid as unprotected data on ankihub

You can keep First Aid field unprotected, we sometimes add existing HTML into the field or fix broken HTML so you don’t lose anything by keeping it unprotected

So just keep it unprotected and no need to reset local changes

Let us know if you need anything else :grinning:

Thanks Ahmed!!! Great help as always.
