Not sure what else to do here since a bunch of people have the same problem and it hasn’t been resolved
My first aid pictures wont show up
I’ve done everything, reset local changes, and imported protected and unprotected fields from the Reddit link. I subscribed and resubscribed, switched profiles, and everything I saw on any online anking help thread. Media check shows over 17000 files missing. I have the paid banking v12 and I would really like to see first aid with my cards

Do you have the missing image icons in your First Aid field?
yes, I put a list on my post of the things I have done so far. I tried everything so far and the corrupted image file shows up instead of the actual image
I also tried to sync on a different computer and had the same issue
Things I have done so far
-reset local changes
-downloaded and redownloaded (subscribed and unsubscribed)
-Checked to see if anything Is protected it is not
-downloaded a collection media folder from the reddit post
-switched profiles still have the same problem
-did a media check
-optimized database
the only images that are missing is first aid. Some of first aid does show up but majority still shows that broken image icon. I really like the first aid it is the main reason I use anki in the first place any help in fixing this is very much appreciated.
If some of the FA does show up, that means you did everything correctly. The media folder is the issue. We cannot assist with issues with the media folder unfortunately. It is copyrighted material and we do not sync FA images
the issue is all my friends have all the FA images, why it that only I don’t? they didn’t download any external things either
can you please point me to a resource that can allow me to get these missing images?
We do not sync FA images so they definitely did not get FA images directly from AnkiHub

Im confused as to why it is embedded in the card then? like why can I see that I should have it but I am being told I cant get them. Like anking has programmed these in and you’re saying there’s no way for me to see what they worked so hard to put into the cards? its ok you can’t help but I would just like to understand the thought process behind this.
When downloading a fresh copy of v12 without altering any settings, you do not get any FA HTML embedded in the cards. This only occurs if you manually unprotect the FA field (it is manually protected by default, which means nothing shows up in the FA field when installing v12 directly from ankihub)
The HTML was kept so users upgrading from previous versions of AnKing (v11 and lower) can still have those images without it being overwritten. Only users who have the media folder can see the FA images, the same was done with additional resources.
The media folder is probably floating somewhere on Reddit, you can also ask your friends to export their FA media and you can import that as well I believe
In a perfect world, everyone would have FA images but we simply cannot do that due to copyright
