If I create a copy of a note, will that note be updated with updates?

Title. I want to edit some notes but everytime AnkiHub updates the deck, the note goes back to its original form. If I instead make a copy of that note with my desired edits, and keep the original suspended, will my copy get updated? Do I need to remove certain tags to keep it from updating? Thanks.

Hello,

If you want to protect the note from being overwritten by AnkiHub, add a protected tag like AnkiHub_Protect::Text

If you make a new note, then it won’t be updated by Ankihub

does using “create a copy” function mean it is a new note even if it retains all the previous tags of the original card by anking
