Hello, I was able to enable first aid images in Anking V12 after unchecking the First Aid box in “Manage protected data”, and “reseting local changes in deck” in the card browser.
I want to disable other images though, such as the physeo or pixorize images as I do not use them and would like to free up disk space. I pretty much tried the same method where I checked (instead of unchecking) the boxes of the sources I do not want on my cards in ankihub, and reset local changes in browser but nothing changed. Would anyone know how I can go about doing this?

@MarcosZan’s advice is great, and will allow you to remove the images from notes in your collection.
It may be worth noting, though, that while you can remove the media from those fields, this will not prevent AnkiHub from syncing that media to your local device (and, thus, will not affect the amount of storage space consumed by the app).
As it currently stands, AnkiHub syncs and collects all of the media in your collection even if you choose to not display that media in your notes. Thus, removing that media from your notes will not actually delete the media files themselves, and they will still be synced and stored locally.
There are hopes in the near future to offer an option in which the AnkiHub add-on can discriminate and offer the option to choose which media to download, or not, though at current it’s not possible to do so.
TL; DR: the deck size is the deck size, and while you can remove media from notes if you prefer not to have it displayed (you can even disable those fields to prevent the entire field from displaying at all), the disk size will ultimately still be the same either way.
Hopefully that offers some helpful insight, though happy to answer any other questions you might have if it’s helpful.
