Hello! Based on your screenshot and description, it looks like you’re experiencing blank or missing content in your AnkiHub cards. This is a common issue that’s often related to protected fields settings. Let me help you fix this:
Likely Cause
It appears you’ve protected fields that contain essential content for your cards. When a field is protected in AnkiHub, it won’t receive updates from the deck publisher - but if that field is empty on your end, it will remain empty.
Solution Steps
-
Unprotect Essential Fields:
- Go to the AnkiHub website for your subscribed deck
- Click the 3 dots in the top right corner
- Select Manage protected data
- Make sure to uncheck essential content fields like Text and Extra fields
- Save your changes
-
Reset Local Changes in Anki:
- Open Anki desktop
- Go to Browse
- Click on the AnkiHub menu at the top
- Select Reset local changes
- Choose the relevant deck
-
Sync Your Collection:
- Click the sync button in Anki
- Wait for the sync to complete
-
Check Media Sync Status:
- In the AnkiHub add-on, check that media sync status is “Idle”
- If it’s still “Downloading,” wait for it to complete (can take up to 60 minutes)
Additional Troubleshooting
If the issue persists after trying these steps:
- Make sure you’re subscribed to the official version of the deck
- Try deleting empty cards: Tools → Empty Cards → Delete
- Verify that the specific note ID you mentioned (1368292340959) has been properly updated
