If you are missing media after subscribing to an AnkiHub deck, please check the following:
- Has AnkiHub finished downloading media for the deck? See how to check this below.
- Are you subscribed to the correct deck?
- For AnKing decks, make sure you are subscribed to the official deck. You can see decks that were created by The AnKing team here.
- Does AnkiHub provide images for the fields your images are missing?
- For the AnKing Step Deck, AnkiHub downloads media for the following fields:
Text
,Extra
,Sketchy
, andPixorize
. - If you have unprotected fields that AnkiHub does not provide media for, this may result in missing images. See here for how to check your protected fields: https://community.ankihub.net/t/8-advanced-functionality/103684
- For the AnKing Step Deck, AnkiHub downloads media for the following fields:
- You may also try resetting the local changes you’ve made to your notes (See instructions below ).
Check Your Media Sync Status
Go to the AnkiHub addon and check what the media sync says.
- Idle = The media sync should be done
- Downloading = The media has not finished downloading, you will need to wait until it says idle until you can see media
Note: It may take up to 60 minutes for media to fully sync depending on your Internet connection. Please allow sufficient time after installation for media to sync.
Reset Local Changes
- Go to Browse
- At the top, click on the AnkiHub addon
- Reset local changes
- Select the AnKing deck
