Missing Media Despite reviewing all instructions

Hi - I am missing media in V12

Under tools → check media I see – Missing files: ⁨26501⁩.
I tried all the approaches here: Why is my deck missing images? and here: Why don't I have all the media in the AnKing Step Deck?

  1. My media sync is up to date
  2. I am missing images across resources, including most from Sketchy (so it is not a physeo issue)
  3. Edit* - I also tried protected fields. Sketchy was already unchecked but I tried unchecking everything except lecture notes and physeo. I then re-booted anki and tried AnkiHub tab–> sync. It said no updates.

Finally - my deck isnt split into bugs and drugs, everything is under anking step deck with no subdecks. Maybe these issues are related?

When I go to “see card on ankihub” i see the images. Can someone please help me with next steps to troubleshoot?

Hello,

A few things:

  • The Anking Deck doesn’t have subdecks, so that’s normal.
  • Can you confirm for me which version of Anki you’re running?
  • Have you tried resetting local changes?
  • Can you show me a card that is not displaying media correctly?
