Just to clarify, Anki’s built-in “Check Media” tool can sometimes show a “missing files” report even when no media is actually missing from your AnkiHub decks. If you see broken image icons, especially in the extra field, that’s when you may have missing media.
If you are seeing broken image icons, please try the following:
Make sure the fields are unprotected (unchecked). Here’s a tutorial on how to do that: How to Manage Protected Fields
Only after saving your protected field preferences, please try resetting local changes again: How to Reset Local Changes
