I am currently subscribed to the anking deck and have a lot of issues with missing media. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the add-on, went to drop down menu on ankihub in anki to force sync. When this didnāt work, I went into the config for Anki hub and selected ārestore defaultā. However, I am still missing significant amount of media (9162) as seen in the screen shot below:

That value is normal, and not necessarily indicative that you are actually currently missing any media. While itās confusing, most of the files there are older and for directories or file locations which current cards no longer point to.
As an example, a fresh install of the Anking Step Deck often lists about 14,000 āmissing filesā but again, itās not that these files are missing so much as there are outdated file directories pointing at previous media images that are no longer used (and for which updated media are now located and housed). My own collection has even more āmissing filesā listed than yours, and itās nothing to worry about. 
That being said, if you are noticing that you have media missing as you review cards, or if something is not displaying correctly, by all means share some examples and we can troubleshoot that together.

Hi! Thank you for this, but unfortunately there are some missing media when I am reviewing and wasnāt sure if all of 9162 missing media was the reason for it. I am having a hard time uploading the screen shot right now, but for example I was reviewing the cards from sketchy pathā>endocrineā>diabetes insp and SIADH. For example, under this deck both the related First Aid and Sketchy 1 cards have a āimage iconā present but you canāt see what it is. This is happening randomly with other cards in the deck. 
Itās helpful if you can share a screenshot, just so that I can see what you see.
Separate from this, because First Aid is proprietary and copyrighted, Ankihub cannot provide those images. Thereās nothing āmissingā there, per se, because itās not something that we can provide unfortunately.
For the Sketchy Path, can you tell me which deck it is that youāre referencing? And/or a note ID?
Your Physeo and FA fields are unprotected and that is a big cause of missing media!
This is what happens with certain cards in the deck, below is an example of first aid but the same is true when I click on the sketchy button for extra information.
Not sure how to resolve this and would greatly appreciate your insight!
For the First Aid youāll want to protect that field to prevent the broken image icon from showing up. Once the field is protected it wonāt show up anymore, though again we canāt provide those images due to copyright. I would do this first.

Second, in order to try to store the Sketchy images letās try resetting local changes. A tutorial for this can be found here: Resetting Local Changes
