What are AnkiHub Organizations

AnkiHub Organizations allow Organization Owners to purchase AnkiHub for other users and invite those users to the Organization.

AnkiHub organizations work like this and have the following features:

Linked Decks

Users in your organization can automatically get access to whatever decks you link to your organization, including private decks. They will also have full access to all current AnkiHub features!

Manage User Seats

Organization owners can invite users to their organization by purchasing AnkiHub memberships for their members. When you invite users to your organization, a few things will happen…

  • Users will automatically be subscribed to your linked decks.
  • They will be sent an email notifying them that they have been added to your organization.
  • These users will have complete access to AnkiHub.
  • Your annual bill will be adjusted when you add a new user to your organization.

Billing

  • You will have a single AnkiHub subscription related to your organization.
    • This subscription will have one “seat,” corresponding to every member of your organization.
  • When an organization owner invites users to their organization, the organization owner will be charged for that user. This allows organizations to pay for their users’ AnkiHub memberships.
  • User seats for organizations are only available with annual billing, which comes with the annual billing discount of one month for free.
    • In addition to gaining access to your organization’s decks, your users can subscribe to any public deck on AnkiHub.
  • When you add a user to your organization, you will be charged the prorated amount in relation to your annual billing date.

:question: How do I create an AnkiHub Organization?

If you would like to create an organization, please make a request in :person_raising_hand: Support , or send a private message to customer support.

We will need to the following details:

  • What do you want your organization name to be?
  • Which AnkiHub decks do you want your organization members to be automatically subscribed to?
    • If you have private decks, please create them on AnkiHub first.

:question: How do I add members to my organization?

The organization owner can add members from there settings page at Sign In (just click Settings on AnkiHub).

:question: Do you offer a discount for bulk purchasing seats?

Seats available for purchase by AnkiHub Organizations are discounted for each user based on the annual billing discount. The annual billing discount is one month free per user. Our plans are priced as low as possible and we can’t discount them further, unfortunately.
