Resetting local changes does not affect card progress or review history. If those things have been affected it’s likely due to something else. If that is also an issue we can talk about restoring from a backup or similar to solve that problem as well.
Yep, no need to press E. Have you used the ‘Empty Cards’ tool as indicated in the on-screen message? Did it resolve the empty card problem?
