Protecting fields and tags

Hi there,
I am a second year medical student and have been using Anki for almost a year now. I recently found an issue with a lot of my cards not having tags and I want to get anki hub to see if it can update all my tags potentially. If I do this, will it reset all the cards I have already done? Or will it simply just update the cards that I have done.

Hello,

It won’t reset any cards, it will update all cards. You will not lose your progress etc.

If you have made changes to the fields like the extra section or text field. These will get overwritten unless you protect them. This guide covers this in detail: 🔐 Protecting Fields and Tags
