Based on my search, as a deck owner in AnkiHub, you can manage subscribers to your deck through the deck settings on the AnkiHub web app. Here’s how to remove subscribers from a deck you own:
Click on the three dots (â‹®) in the top right corner
Click on “Deck settings”
Look for the subscriber management section
In the deck settings, you should find options to view current subscribers and remove them as needed.
If you’re having trouble finding this specific option, you can also:
Check if there’s a “Manage Subscribers” or similar tab in the deck settings
Look for a list of current subscribers with options to remove them
If you need more detailed help with this process, please share a screenshot of what you’re seeing in the deck settings, and I can provide more specific guidance.
Would you like me to look for any other information related to managing subscribers for your AnkiHub deck?
I own a deck that was public and is now private but the subscribers do not appear on my deck it just says 9 subsribers but theres no option to delete them
Thank you for providing that additional information. Currently, the AnkiHub platform doesn’t provide deck owners with a direct way to remove existing subscribers from a private deck. When you switched your deck from public to private, existing subscribers maintained their access, which is why you still see “9 subscribers” but no way to remove them.
This is actually by design - once users have subscribed to your deck, they retain access even after you make it private. The private setting simply prevents new users from discovering and subscribing to your deck.
If you absolutely need to remove these subscribers, you have a couple of options:
Create a new private deck: You could create a completely new private deck with your content and stop maintaining the original one. This way, only people you specifically invite can access the new deck.
Contact AnkiHub support: For special circumstances, you might want to reach out directly to the AnkiHub team through their support channels to see if they can manually remove subscribers in your specific case.
Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a self-service option within the AnkiHub interface to remove existing subscribers once they’ve subscribed to your deck.
Would you like me to help you with anything else regarding deck management in AnkiHub?
To get subscribers removed from your private deck, you’ll need to contact the AnkiHub support team directly. Here are the official ways to reach out:
Email support: Send an email to support@ankihub.net with details about your deck and your request to remove subscribers.
Contact Customer Support through the community: You can send a private message to the customer support team through the community forum by clicking here.
Create a support post: You could also create a new topic in the Support category with more details about your situation, though for privacy reasons the direct contact methods above might be better for this specific request.
When contacting support, be sure to include:
Your deck name
Your username
A brief explanation of why you need subscribers removed from your private deck
The AnkiHub team typically responds within 1-2 business days. Since subscriber management for private decks doesn’t have a self-service option in the interface, this is the best way to address your specific situation.
