Smart search saying that I haven't paid for premium

When trying to use smart search it says this now all of a sudden. I’ve used this feature for months and I checked to make sure my subscription was active. It seems to think that I haven’t paid for the premium sub

This usually happens when AnkiHub can’t correctly verify your Premium status in the Anki add-on, even though your subscription is active on the web.

Please try these quick checks (in order):

  1. Force a re‑login in the add-on

    • In Anki, go to Tools → Add-ons → AnkiHub → Config (or the AnkiHub menu if you see it).
    • Log out of AnkiHub (if possible), then log back in with the same email you used for your Premium purchase.
    • Restart Anki and try Smart Search again.
  2. Make sure you’re on the latest AnkiHub add-on

    • In Anki: Tools → Add-ons → Check for Updates.
    • Update AnkiHub if an update is available, restart Anki, then test Smart Search.
  3. Check which account is Premium

  4. Try a quick cache reset

    • In Anki, disable the AnkiHub add-on, restart Anki, re-enable it, restart again, then try Smart Search.
