Welcome to the Dermki deck!

I wanted to share our first announcement now that we have the ability to do that with AnkiHub! It has been really exciting to see this deck grow to over 2000 users now!

First, I thought it would be fun to see who is all subscribed via the poll below.

Second, we would love any help you can offer to improve the deck. We have gotten permission from multiple sources so that we can add clinical, dermoscopy, and dermpath images to the deck. We’ve also added a lot of Dermnemonics images to the Additional resources field (huge thanks to @jarett.anderson!).

  • To add images, please review the How do I submit changes section on the wiki for resources we can use and instructions on how to add them. Even if everyone just submits 3-4 images, that will go a long way in making the deck SO much better!

More announcements to come in the future! If you have any thoughts or would like to join our slack group chat, please let me know!

I don’t think I’m getting any updates even though I try to sync though AnkiHub on the Anki app. My dermpath deck only has 7 cards while my friends have more and I don’t believe there are “updates” in mine. Please help

Try this

Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

I tried to reset my local changes as you instructed but when I do that, it brings up a form to fill out before I can continue. I read the privacy forms and try to sign in but it never lets me complete and save the form. The agree button won’t let me click it and I can’t put anything in the study preferences. What do I need to do to submit the form and hopefully reset my local changes to get the updated cards.

I manually accepted it for you on our end, can you try again and see if it works?

hmmm I’m not sure it worked. Now it shows a similar page but without the part saying accept the privacy agreement with the check and it wants me to put my name in and where I’m from but there is nothing where it says study preferences and I can’t submit it still.

@abdo.nh

@jac044 Can you do a short screen recording of the problem if possible? We got similar reports recently but still unsure how it looks like.

Here’s the image of what it looks like for me

And just to clarify, I can’t submit the form no matter what I enter.

Can you try adding a study preference from the settings page instead? Sign In

The prompt should go away once you do that.

I am sorry, I have tried going into settings and opening preferences and there’s nowhere that says study preference specifically but I made sure my preferences were all adjusted. But whenever I go to sync with ankihub the prompt continues to pull up the study preference form that I can’t submit no matter what I enter.

Hello @jac044

To circumvent this, go to this link (Sign In) and at the top click on Settings. Then you can scroll down and you edit the form there and click Save. That should stop the prompt from coming up in Anki

@jac044 If you’re also using the Qt5 version of Anki as we suspect, please update to Qt6 one if possible. The Qt5 build was recently discontinued by Anki and is no longer being updated.
