If I delete the notes and cards under the β!DELETE(Duplicate)β subtag for #AK_Step2_v12, and Iβm currently studying for Step 1, would it delete important/relevant cards for Step 1 too that were not supposed to be deleted? Or would it not make any difference since they are supposed to be deleted for Step 1 and Step 2 both?
Hello,
They would not make a difference because they were meant to be deleted for both Step 1/2 if they were tagged for both
If I just delete the ones under the #AK_Step2_v12 tag and not check if they were tagged for Step 1 or not, would it make any difference if Iβm studying for Step 1? Precisely, Iβm trying to ask if deleting the β!DELETEβ tag cards for Step 2 tag would delete cards which were supposed to be kept for Step 1 and not for Step 2 UNLESS they were meant to be deleted for both at the same time and not depending on the exam youβre preparing for.
The delete cards for Step 2 are only for Step 2, there are only a small number where they overlap. These cards are duplicates, which means there is an alternative testing the exact same thing in the deck which is why they are being tagged as delete.
But to answer your question, deleting the Step 2 delete cards will not affect your Step 1 studying or vice versa
if we delete duplicates that we have been actively reviewing does that mean there is already another version of the card unsuspended?
There should be another card associated with the duplicate yes, you can find this out by checking the card history and clicking on the bulk suggestion on the top right.
However, that does not mean it was automatically resuspended, you must unsuspend it yourself
