Is tried to fill out the agreement online on Ankihub but can’t find it.

Based on your situation with the AnkiHub agreement popup that you can’t interact with, here’s how to resolve this issue:

The Problem

You’re encountering a frozen agreement popup in AnkiHub that doesn’t allow you to scroll down or click the agreement checkbox.

Solution

Try this troubleshooting approach:

  1. Force Quit Anki Completely

    • Close Anki completely
    • If it won’t close normally, force quit the application:
      • Windows: Use Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)
      • Mac: Right-click Anki in the dock, hold Command, and select “Force Quit”
  2. Open Anki in Safe Mode

    • Restart your computer if needed
    • Hold down the Shift key while starting Anki to enter Safe Mode
  3. Update the AnkiHub Add-on

    • In Safe Mode, go to Tools → Add-ons → Check for Updates
    • This should update the AnkiHub add-on to the latest version
  4. Restart Anki Normally

    • Close Anki and restart it without holding Shift
    • The agreement popup should now work properly

If these steps don’t work, you might need to try a complete reinstall of the AnkiHub add-on:

  1. Backup your collection
  2. Delete the AnkiHub add-on
  3. Reinstall it from AnkiWeb (code: 1322529746)

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

I’m not sure, unfortunately, that I see a pop-up in the message you shared. Perhaps you can include that?

But, absent that I can make a few educated guesses:

  • Close Anki.
  • Start Anki while pressing the Shift key (this will load Anki in Safe Mode).
  • Go to your top menu bar: Anki - About Anki and check your version number. If it’s anything but 25.02, you’ll want to update (https://apps.ankiweb.net/)
  • Once you’ve updated, load again in Safe Mode, go to your top menu bar: Tools - Add-ons - Check for Updates. Update all of your add-ons.
  • Restart Anki normally

From there you should be able to fill out the form if I’ve imagined the correct one

Give those things a shot and let me know how you fare, and we can go from there.

I tried to the steps above and I am still stuck at this. I can’t seem to access the Tools or add-ons

From the image you shared, it looks like you haven’t started in Safe Mode. I would give that a shot

I ended up existing and relogging into my AnkiHub account and that worked!
Thanks for your help!
