Hi, I am going through same problem atm. I have tried everything that you mentioned above but still my Anki is only showing 500-600.
Hello,
First, please make sure you have reset your local changes by following this tutorial: How to Reset Local Changes. Let me know if you run into any issues during that process.
The best way to verify if you have all the cards is by checking the tag rather than clicking on the deck itself. Please select the #AK_Step1_v12 tag and send me a screenshot so we can see how many cards are in it:
Hi, thank you for quick respond to this problem.
I have tried reset local changes as you mentioned, but nothing was actually changed after it.
I attached my screenshot here. still it’s only showing only few cards atm.
It’s strange that your Card Edit View isn’t showing the AnkiHub add-on options. Did you complete the “Reset Local Changes” process? It is not possible to reset local changes without having the AnkiHub add-on installed. Please compare your screen to mine below to see the missing AnkiHub options:
Please ensure you have the AnkiHub add-on installed. Go to Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons and paste this code: 1322529746
Next, please log in to your AnkiHub account:
After that, please update both Anki and the AnkiHub add-on.
Anki: You can download the latest version here: https://apps.ankiweb.net/. After downloading, simply run the file to update your application. Then, please go to Help > About Anki and send us a screenshot of your Anki version.
AnkiHub add-on:
- On your Anki main screen, go to Tools > Add-ons > Check for Updates.
- After the update is complete, please restart Anki.
Finally, reset local changes again: How to Reset Local Changes
Important: If Anki asks whether you want to download or upload to AnkiWeb, click upload.
Ok, so I followed everything what you suggested in previous reply
I clicked some random buttons and I got more cards but not as much as other users.
Also, it shows suggest a change, view on ankihub and view note history button on my screen.

This is my Anki version
Your first screenshot showing that you now have 2,737 notes is also selecting the same #AK_Step1_v12 tag? If you could send a screenshot of what you are selecting to show these results on the browser, that would be helpful.
Can you please specify what buttons you clicked? If you have already logged in to the AnkiHub add-on and reset local changes, any other button you click may cause this issue to remain unresolved. It is odd that you now have more cards, but not all of them.
I don’t remember what specifically I clicked… but after that click I gained 1500+cards more.
last one is my add-on list just in case if you need to know
Now it seems your card count has gone down again. You had 2,737, and now you have 2,352.
Resetting local changes is the fix for this issue. Could you please record the process of resetting your local changes so I can figure out exactly what’s happening? Please briefly record your screen while resetting local changes, and then immediately after it finishes, click again in the same tag so we can see the number.
If it’s a bug on our end, I will pass this recording to the developers so they can help us figure it out.

I did record the screen but it says this file is too big to upload it on here. is there any other way
You can upload it in this Google Drive folder so I can take a look at it.
@bemyoneandaonly Does unsubscribing from the deck from AnkiHub > Deck Management then subscribing again help?
