Anking MCAT V2 Deck - Protected Tags are Not Protected After Sync

I am trying to protect cards I have edited from being updated during AnkiHub syncs with a protected tag. I added the tag under the Special Fields tab under “Tools” on the Anki app as well as added the protected tag on my AnkiHub. Every time I install the deck, the cards I have protected with the protected tag are synced with AnkiHub and all my edits are lost. Any ideas how I could fix this?

If you want to protect a specific card, right click on the card, go to ankihub protect → select the fields you want to protect

The special fields addon has no use for AnkiHub

Protecting a tag on ankihub only protects that tag, it does not protect the note

The Ankihub protect option is blurred out when I right click any of my cards.

Any way I can fix this issue with the Ankihub protect option being blurred out?

If it is blurred out, that means that card is not on V12 I believe. Can you take a screenshot of what card you are trying to add it to?

Is it all cards that are greyed out?

Alternatively, you can add the tag AnkiHub_Protect::Text or AnkiHub_Protect::Extra and it will do the same
