Anking V12 deck - Syncing adds new cards but does not update old ones

I am new to AnkiHub. I just subscribed to the AnKing V12 deck. I previously used the V11 deck.
Upon syncing, I got just 9 new cards, and no updates.
the V12 tag for step 1 has only 37 cards. V12 step tag has only 22 cards.
I changed the card type of all my old cards to the new card type (from AnKingOverhaul to —> Anking OverHaul (Anking/ AnKing Med) incase they weren’t updating due to a difference in note type. I have also tried logging out and logging back in on Ankihub in anki.
I am also using the latest version of Anki. (24.04.1-qt6).

I get no error message, but my cards don’t update either.

Hello,

Try this:

Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

Note that you shouldn’t need to change the note type as it may cause issues. The note type changes by itself upon successful installation

Oh yikes, i had already changed the note type - nonetheless, resetting local changes worked!
