Can I edit Note Types without compromising update?

As the title says
For example, instead of this

{{tts en_US voices=Apple_Samantha,Microsoft_Zira speed=1.4:cloze:Text }}

I want to use

{{tts en_US hypertts_preset=Back_realtime_1 voices=HyperTTS:cloze:Text}}

What complications may arise? (e.g, updating note types, …)

@BEST8OY Note that the recommended way to modify AnKing note types is through the customization add-on: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/952691989

It has options to control text to speech.

If you modify the template manually and you don’t have the AnKing note types add-on, AnkiHub will overwrite your changes in the next sync. Manual modifications when you have the add-on installed are fine though (I hope my explanation is clear)

I watched the video on the add-on and noticed it’s fine to edit some parts of the html which are predefined as customizable.
