Hello,

Please follow this tutorial to resolve the issue with missing media: Why is my deck missing images?

Let me know if this works for you or if you continue to experience the issue. If you do, please provide screenshots so we can better understand what you are facing.

I don’t have an option to reset local changes but media is idle. This is an example

  1. Not all images but some images are missing. I see an image icon.
  2. I’ve tried syncing anki after resubscribing and checking media. There are a large number of media images missing but not sure how to fix this problem.
    3.

You should be able to reset local changes if you have the AnkiHub add-on installed, which is required to sync with the decks on AnkiHub and to ensure that your media sync is idle. This image does exist in the deck, and I don’t see anything else that could be interfering with it, so I think resetting local changes will resolve the issue.

Please follow this tutorial and let me know if you get stuck on any specific step. Send me screenshots of what you see so I can better understand what’s happening: Resetting Local Changes

I have tried resetting local changes, the problem hasn’t been fixed.

  • Please ensure you are on the latest version of Anki. You can download it here: https://apps.ankiweb.net/. After downloading, simply run the downloaded file to update your application.

  • Please also update the AnkiHub add-on:

  1. On your Anki main screen, go to Tools > Add-ons > Check for Updates.
  2. After the update is complete, please restart Anki.

If the updates and resetting local changes again don’t resolve the issue, could you please upload your logs so we can investigate this further? Here’s how:

  1. In the Anki app, navigate to the menu: AnkiHub > Help > Upload Logs.
  2. A filename will be shown in a confirmation pop-up. Please copy and paste that filename here for us.
