[Untitled AI bot PM]

For the Danki Debakey’s Anatomy deck, my images are not downloading. I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to the deck and they still do not show up – I only see a small image square with a question mark in it instead of the actual image. I have tried resyncing with Ankihub.

Did you just subscribe to it? It’s a fairly large deck and media can take some time to sync.

Separately from that, just to make sure: are you on the latest version of Anki (24.11) and all add-ons are up to date?

I just resubscribed today but I was subscribed for months before and the images were never able to show up. It also says media sync complete and there is no spinning wheel alongside the sync icon. When I press “check media,” it says I have “Missing files: ⁨1285⁩ and Unused files: ⁨49036⁩.” And yes, I pressed “check for updates” and it says I am currently up to date. I do not know how to check that my add-ons are up to date.

The ‘check for updates’ is how you check that your add-ons are up to date. :slight_smile:

The Debakey’s deck is not a deck that is maintained by Ankihub, since it was uploaded by a private author, so I am somewhat limited in being able to troubleshoot it. That being said, let’s give the likeliest solution a shot and see what’s what: Resetting Local Changes

I had already tried that but I tried it again and still no luck. Is there anything else I should try? Or a way to contract the owner of the private deck?

Just out of curiosity, can you show me a screencap of a card that’s displaying images improperly? I just want to check something real quick


Can you show me one that either has text in it as well, or can you share that card’s note ID with me? I’m going to try to subscribe to the deck myself and see if I get the same issue you do.

Please try the following:

  1. Go to Tools > Add-ons > Install from file and select the attached zip ankihub.zip (772.3 KB)
  2. Restart Anki.
  3. Sync with AnkiHub.

Let me know if that fixes the issue for you. If it doesn’t help, please upload logs again (“Upload logs” is fine this time).


I selected the zip file from my desktop folder after clicking “install from file” but am not sure if it uploaded correctly to my add-ons? Do you see it here? I tried several times. I also restarted anki, installed the newest update because I was prompted to upon opening anki, and then I synced with anki hub. The images are still not appearing.
